Happy Holidays Blog Party!!!

Hello, everyone! Can you believe that it’s almost Christmas? Happy Holidays! To celebrate the season, I wanted to host a blog party. This is a great way for new bloggers to connect as well as meet already established bloggers.

Blog parties have been a great way for me to meet amazing bloggers and get my own blog out there. It has really helped and so I want to thank all of the people who have done a blog party. All that said, I want to share this wonderful experience with all of you. Enjoy!

Here are some things to think about:

  1. Share a link and tell us about yourself and your blog 🙂
  2. Please don’t leave more than one link at a time. If you want to leave another link, please do that in another comment.
  3. For every link, you leave, try to check someone else out. Spread the love!
  4. If you want, feel free to follow me! 🙂 I love meeting new people and I would love to have you join me here on my blog. I love sharing things with you all!

Okay, everyone! Let’s share some links, meet new people, and have fun! Looking forward to meeting you!

5 Studying Tips For Busy Students

Hello, hello! I’m so glad you stopped by today. Today I wanted to share with you some ways to help improve your study time. Wherever you work, whether at school, at home (home school!), at the library, at college, or anywhere else you might be working on stuff.

It often feels like it’s a never-ending cycle of papers, problems, and reading. The feeling of waking up and doing the same thing over and over again. However, I wanted to share with you some ways to look at your school work, as well as do it, in a manner that encourages a little more enjoyment. After all, as students right now, we are completing this kind of work five days a week (or more,) so why not try and spice it up?

I know it’s not gonna be all sunshine rainbow. Trust me, some days are loooooong,:) but I wanted to share this post hoping that these tips might help brighten up your school routine. I hope you enjoy!

5 Study Tips

1. The reason I recommend only listening to background music is that it is easy to get distracted when lyrics are playing through the headphones. If you are listening to “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” (sorry…it’s almost Christmas, 🙂 but you are reading a history lesson on World War II, how well do you think you are going to remember what you just read after? Instead, I often enjoy listening to upbeat music without lyrics like this playlist on Youtube which I enjoy listening to. The upbeat rhythm keeps me moving at a good pace, and work gets done. Success!

2. Oh yes! I believe that delicious drink, be it coffee, tea, smoothie, milkshake, etc., has some magic in it. I feel like when you are sitting to do work, drinking something yummy makes you feel like you’re at a cafe in a pretty downtown city. I know I sound strange, but whatever you drinks are doing to help us get through our school work, thank a bunch.

3. You know how so many people are creating online courses these days? Do you wish some days that YOU could be the teacher instead of being the student? Well, say hello to the inner teacher inside of you! It’s actually pretty fun to pretend you are teaching an academic subject on a course for someone or that you are in the classroom. Try it!

4. This part is especially fun. This is the time to listen to your favorite song WITH lyrics, grab a drink re-fill, dance, or do whatever makes you happy. Just try to keep it to ten minutes or under so that you’ll still get your work done early.

5. The best part? Rewarding yourself. Do this after you finish your last subject and have checked it off. Some days it might be sitting to watch a show, other days it could be taking a walk with friends. Maybe you’ll decide to go thrift shopping or get your nails done! Whatever the reward, pick it before you work so that you have it to look forward to when you’re done!

There you have it, people! Five tips for the busy student. Now do a happy dance!

The Five Tips:

  1. Listen to BACKGROUND music.
  2. Drink something yummy.
  3. Pretend to teach the subject to someone (or a class).
  4. Take SHORT breaks and do something fun.
  5. Reward yourself.

I truly hope you found this motivational, inspiring, and helpful. If you did, I would love if you’d leave a comment below and let me know. Or, if you have your own tip, feel free to leave that in the comment section as well! I can always fit new tips into my brain. 🙂

Have a wonderful day!
