Monday Motivation + Inspiration 2

Hello, readers! A happy Monday to all of you wonderful people 🙂 I was so glad to hear from some of you letting me know you enjoyed last week’s Monday Motivation and so I decided to do another one! I love this type of stuff myself, so let’s be inspired and motivated together this Monday afternoon 🙂

Quote of the Day:

Set a goal that makes you want to jump out of bed in the morning.

Verse of the day:

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Song of the day!

There you have it! I plan to do this more because I really enjoy it and because I think we need more motivation on Monday (and every other day in fact). 😉 Mondays are the hardest, though!

Keep your chin up; stay strong and don’t be discouraged. Keeping yourself motivated can be hard at times, but good music, snacks, and a prayer go a long way. Think of some fun way to brighten up the dull task at hand. Have fun!!!

I hope you found this inspiring and motivational. Have a great Monday and feel free to share your favorite motivation and inspirational tips, quotes, etc., in the comment section below. Look forward to hearing from you!

Have a fabulous day! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Monday Motivation + Inspiration

Hello, again! Happy Monday to all you wonderful people! I’ve decided to share with you a short inspiring post. I don’t know about you, but some days, we just need a little boost of inspiration – especially on Mondays! 😉 So, with that being said, I’m going straight into the good stuff.

Quote for today:

“You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem,  smarter than you think, and loved more than you know!” – Winnie the Pooh Quote

Verse for today:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!”

Picture of the day:

A Song:

And there you go! Remember that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, and that you are smart, strong, and brave. If you fall, get back up and start again. As Anne of Green Gables says in the movie, ” Tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes in it.” Take a quick walk if you need a break, make iced tea, or eat cookies. Then sit back down, figure out what you need, and do it!

Hope you found this inspiring and motivational. Have a great Monday and feel free to share your favorite motivation and inspirational tips, quotes, etc., in the comment section below. Look forward to hearing from you!

Have an awesome day! 🙂 🙂 🙂

May Update + Some Goals

Hey, hey! So glad you’re reading this post today! You may have seen the post I did here about planning some stuff out for my blog, but I’m gonna admit, I didn’t stick to what I was hoping for 😦 Luckily, every day is another chance, so I’m gonna try again. When you fall down, the best thing to do is eat chocolate cake and start again. I mean, am I right or am I right? 🙂 It may not be perfect, but I’m excited to see how it goes this time around.

As you’ll notice if you’ve followed this blog for a bit, I gave my blog design a little make-over. I changed to the Nucleare theme (free), updated my header and sidebars a bit, as well as adding a contact page and a couple new categories. Yay! It was fun, and I enjoyed changing the look a little bit.

I created my header on Canva, which I love:), and if you want to learn more about this awesome graphic design tool, check out my post on that here!

I’m still a Pinterest addict, consistently posting whatever catches my eye, so feel free to check out what I’m loving on my boards here!

Okay…now onto some goals.

  1.  I would like to see if I can reach 100 followers really soon (by next month?) I don’t know if that is too much to expect, but I’m really excited about trying to increase my followers. We’ll see how it goes…I would love to meet you if I haven’t already! 😉
  2. Share some freebies! I would love to start doing this on the blog, so feel free to let me know of some ideas if you have any!
  3. Post once a week on Wednesday. I may try to increase or post an extra one if I have time, but with the other things I have going on right now, I figured this was a good start. Consistency is key, right? It may be small, but at least it’s consistent. 🙂

I’m sure there’s more I could share, but I wanted to give you all a little update for the month. I hope to continue doing monthly updates as well so you can start looking for those every month. 🙂

Thanks for taking the time to read this! If you have any tips, ideas, or comments for me, please feel free to let me know below! I’m excited to try being more consistent and I hope to make some progress on this blog.

What are your blogging goals or tips? Share them below…I look forward to hearing from you soon. Happy blogging!!!

The Graphic Tool Every Business Needs

Graphics are VERY important when it comes having a business, but the last thing you need is a tool that isn’t functional and easy to use. I have not personally experienced much trouble with any tools because I was lucky enough to find an incredible tool quickly, but if you are looking (or have no idea what graphic design tools are!), then keep reading!

Canva is the tool I’m talking about and it’s amazing. Not only is it super easy to learn and understand, but the free resources you have with it are great, too.

I currently have the free plan (yay… I love free business tools….don’t you?) I am considering upgrading at some point because you get some extra features which I would really enjoy having, but if you are just starting out, I highly recommend starting with the free plan. You may decide you never want to upgrade, and that’s fine, too.

Here are some of the things I love about Canva.

  1. Really awesome fonts and images FREE!
  2. extra images and special designs $1
  3. easy to upload any pictures you want to edit
  4. Free how-to tutorials on their blog
  5. pretty templates and easily customizable colors, sizes, word spacing, fading tool, etc.

Great features, right? At some point, I  hope to share some specific Canva tutorials on how to design certain projects, but for now, I wanted to introduce to you this tool which I believe every business and blogger needs.

Have you tried Canva? What are your thoughts about it? Please be sure to comment below and let me know! It’s great to hear from others who are enjoying awesome tools like this!

Have a great day!
